A living funeral honours a life while the person is still alive. An ashes memorial honours a life after death, once cremation has taken place and ashes have been returned.
Both are held with the same time, care, and intention.
When a living funeral is held under our all-inclusive package, future care is already arranged.
Golden Memories Funerals will collect the person, arrange cremation, and return the ashes to the family. There is no expectation to hold another memorial unless the family wishes to.
Each gathering is held as a three-hour memorial, allowing time for remembrance, shared food, and meaningful connection.
